What are the ingredients in Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal vitamins?

Like the name says, all the ingredients in Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal vitamins are raw, meaning that they are uncooked, untreated with chemicals, and straight from the earth. Even the capsule is made from a vegetable base (cellulose). The list of ingredients is extensive, from the vitamins normally included in prenatal vitamins like vitamins B, folic acid, iron, and calcium to the inclusion of vitamins A, E, and K. Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal does not stop there, however – each dose includes a combination of fruit and vegetables, sprouts, an anti-nausea blend, and minerals from the ocean.

Why are all these blends included? Are the necessary?

Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal is more than just a prenatal vitamin. The inclusion of raw food blends is meant to keep you and your unborn child as healthy as possible. Doctors agree that while vitamins can be a valuable part of someone’s diet, the best way to get the nutrients you need are to eat them in “real” food, the way people have for millions of years before the vitamin market took off. Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal combines modern medicinal vitamins with the traditional knowledge that the best health benefits come straight from plants and natural sources. These vitamins provide the same vitamins in other RX or over the counter prenatal vitamins, but they maintain raw and organic standards, and add a fruit and vegetable blend ( a blend of no less than 22 all natural fruits, vegetables, and their juices), and a sprout blend (containing 13 different sprouts).

Are all those sprouts safe for me to take while pregnant?

Many pregnant women avoid the consumption of raw sprouts during pregnancy out of fear of harmful bacteria. Although this is a legitimate precaution, Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal strives to maintain the highest health and safety precautions. The danger inherent in raw sprouts comes when the sprouts are still growing. If one sprout begins to decompose, it can contaminate the bunch and cause them to “go bad.” Vitamin Code tries to prevent this by using all organic seeds, and regularly checking on growing sprouts to make sure that there are no signs of decomposition or a presence of pathogens. If you’re still still nervous about the inclusion of a sprout blend, call the company and ask about their safety precautions, or find a different prenatal vitamin that more closely fits your needs and concerns.

What else is in Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal?

Since many pregnant women struggle with morning sickness and/or may find taking vitamins a trigger for nausea, a “prenatal digestive comfort” blend is included. This simply includes ginger and lactobacillus rhamnosus ( a probiotic) Ginger is a safe and organic herb often associated with the relief of stomach problems and nausea. In fact, one of the chemicals naturally occurring in ginger is routinely included in laxative and antacid medications. The probiotic included (lactobacillus rhamnosus) contains 6 billion CFU (culture forming units) which can help sooth stomach problems, as well as improve immune function.

What ingredients are missing in Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal?

Unfortunately, Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal does not contain choline, inositol, DHA, or CoQ10. I would have liked to have seen more calcium as well.

Is Vitamin Code Raw Prenatal right for me?

Possibly. The best way to know if a vitamin is right for you is to consult your doctor, try it, and then monitor your own health and comfort.

What makes bebe-O Natural Prenatal vitamins so “Natural”?

The best way to explain bebe-O Natural Prenatal vitamins is to say what is NOT in them. The vitamins have no artificial colors, no artificial flavors, and no artificial sweeteners. If it’s artificial, then it doesn’t belong in your prenatal vitamin! Furthermore, there are no petrochemicals, no preservatives, no GMO’s, no bezoates, no chorides, no oxides, and no propylene glycol. There is no gluten in bebe-O Natural Prenatal vitamins and they are 100% hypoallergenic.

So what IS in bebe-O Natural Prenatal vitamins?

Bebe-O Natural Prenatal vitamins are chock full of a host of all natural (and all vegan) ingredients designed to keep mother and baby healthy and happy throughout pregnancy. Each dose contains a vitamin blend of Vitamin A, C, D2, K1, and a blend of B vitamins including vitamin B1, B2, B3, B6 and B12. Each vitamin contained in bebe-O offers something unique as your pregnancy develops. Vitamin A, good for eyesight, also helps improve growth and appetite. Vitamin C improves your immune system, since it’s so important to stay healthy as you get ready to bring a new baby into the world. Vitamin C is also a natural laxative and can help keep things running smoothly as your body responds to the strains of pregnancy. Vitamin D, combined with bebe-O’s 250mg of calcium, helps maintain good bone health for the mother and form the building blocks for healthy bones and teeth in the baby. However, I would have liked to have seen more calcium in bebe-O Natural Prenatal vitamins – preferably 750mg. Vitamin K helps aid the normal clotting of blood and is routinely given to newborns. B vitamins provide a long and varied list of health benefits, but perhaps most important is its vital role of helping to develop an unborn infant’s brain and nervous system. Although scientists are not sure why, vitamin B has proven to act as an anti-nausea agent to some pregnant women.

What else is in bebe-O Natural Prenatal vitamins?

In addition to vitamins, bebe-O also provide folic acid, calcium, iron, magnesium, and zinc. But that’s not all – a unique antioxidant blend and a proprietary blend are also included in every day’s worth of bebe-O Natural Prenatal vitamins. Antioxidants, always a healthy addition to someone’s diet, are even more important during pregnancy. Some studies have found that a woman who ingests lots of antioxidants during pregnancy may reduce her child’s risk of becoming obese or suffering from diabetes. In bebe-O Natural Prenatal vitamins, all antioxidants come straight from their natural source – the earth! The blend includes rose hips, carrots, ginger, grape seed extract, raspberry leaf, and shitake mushrooms. The proprietary blend includes vitamin B15, which extends the life of cells and helps combat fatigue and help metabolism – perfect for when pregnancy gets you down.

That being said, there are several very important ingredients missing from bebe-O Natural Prenatal vitamins. Unfortunately, bebe-O Natural Prenatal vitamins do not contain choline, inositol, DHA, CoQ10, or probiotics. These five ingredients are real miracle workers during pregnancy, and in my opinion, should be included in every prenatal vitamin.

How do you take bebe-O Natural Prenatal vitamins?

You can take bebe-O Natural Prenatal vitamins throughout all the stages of pregnancy. A daily dose of bebe-O Natural Prenatal vitamins is four capsules. Bebe-O recommends two capsules in the morning and two at night. Personally, I struggle with taking more than one pill a day, and four seems a bit excessive. The choice, of course, is up to you.

Is Prenatalgyn A Good Product?

Prenatalgyn is a prenatal vitamin that contains 22 key pregnancy vitamins and minerals. This prenatal vitamin is one of the best when it comes to providing the mother and child with all of the important ingredients before, during, and after pregnancy. Prenatalgyn comes in capsule form and is easy to swallow and digest. Prenatalgyn also contains 1 billion cfu of probiotics. This is one of the highest amounts of probiotics I have seen in a prenatal vitamin. With all of the new scientific research on probiotics you can see why this product contains probiotics. Probiotics have been found to provide a healthy gastrointestinal system, prevents heartburn, constipation, cramping, diahrrhea, nausea, and recently has been linked to help reduce childhood obesity and weight gain of the mother. Immune system of your infant will also benefit from this probiotic blend.

Prenatalgyn Ingredients

Serving Size: 6 V-caps, Servings Per Container: 30, Ingredients: Vitamin A  5000iu, Vitamin C 240mg, Vitamin D3 400iu, Vitamin E 100iu, Vitamin B1 3.4mg, Vitamin B2 4mg, Vitamin B3 40mg, Vitamin B6 20mg, Folic Acid 800mcg, Vitamin B12 18mcg, Biotin 400mcg, Pantothenic Acid 20mg, Calcium 1300mg, Iron 27mg, Iodine 150mcg, Magnesium 450mg, Zinc L-OptiZinc 15mg, Selenium 200mcg, Copper 2mg, Manganese 2mg, Chromium ChromeMate 200mcg, Potassium 10mg, Probiotic Blend 1 billion cfu. DHA 50mg, Ginger Root 250mg, Insitol 25mg, and Choline 25mg.

Essential Ingredients to Look For In a Prenatal Vitamin

When looking into prenatal vitamins there are a few important ingredients to make sure that your prenatal vitamin has. Important ingredients to look for are CoQ10, Ginger, Probiotics, at least (400mcg) of Folate or Folic Acid but preferably (800-1000mcg), Vitamin B6 (25-50mg), Calcium (750mg) or more, and (50mg-200mg) of DHA is a must. Choline and Insitol are nice additions and I strongly recommend them. Iron is also a must have ingredient and your vitamin should contain at least 25mg of it. Capsules, softgels, and liquids are better to take than tablets which are harder to swallow and harder to absorb.

Essential Ingredients Found In Prenatalgyn

Prenatalgyn contains just about all of the essential vitamins that I would recommend looking for in a prenatal vitamin. The only ingredient that I would have liked to seen added to this prenatal vitamin is Co-Q10. Co-Q10 has been found to help reduce the risk of preeclampsia during pregnancy. This ingredient has also been found to help promote healing after delivery.

Prenatalgyn also contains good percentages and amounts of essential ingredients. I didn’t see one ingredient that was below the recommended amount.

Overall Rating of Prenatalgyn

Prenatalgyn overall I would say is one of the best prenatal vitamins on the market. There is not much that you could do to make this product better. I would have liked to have seen Co-Q10 in this product, but other than that I don’t think I would change anything. You do have to take six capsules a day so for some people that may be hard, but you could break it up some and take three in the morning and three at night. As far as side effects I have not seen any reported for this product.

Does Trimedisyn Contain The Best List Of Ingredients?

The answer is most definitely yes. Trimedisyn is at the front of the market because it contains all of the newest researched ingredients for pregnant mothers. Most of the prenatal vitamins available have not been updated for over 10 years, and during that 10 years nutritionists and doctors have found out a lot more about fetal development and nutrition. Trimedisyn is a newer product that has only been available since 2010. As a prenatal vitamin Trimedisyn is the best I have reviewed yet. The reason for this is that it is the first prenatal vitamin to contain all of the ingredients that recent research has found to be important for developing babies. Before this product some mothers would have to supplement with other products along with their prenatal vitamin to get everything they need, but with Trimedisyn you do not have to do that. Trimedisyn is not a prescription prenatal vitamin, but it contains all of the qualities of a prescription prenatal vitamin and more. Not only does Trimedisyn contain the best list of ingredients available but it also contains the best amounts.

Ingredients Found In Trimedisyn

Vitamins and Minerals: Folic Acid (800mcg), Calcium (1300mg), Iron (27mg) ,Vitamin A (500iu), Vitamin C (240mg), Vitamin D3 (400iu), Vitamin E (100 iu), Vitamin B1 (3.4mg), Vitamin B2 (4mg), Vitamin B3 (40mg), Vitamin B6 (20mg), Vitamin B12 18 mcg), Biotin (400 mcg), Pantothenic Acid (20mg), Iodine (150 mcg), Magnesium (450 mg), Zinc L-OptiZinc® (15mg), Selenium (200mcg), Copper (2mg), Manganese (2mg), Chromium ChromeMate® (200mcg), and Potassium (10mg).

Probiotic Blend: (1 Billion cfu) L. Casei, L. Plantarum, L. Salivarius, L. Acidophilus, L. Rhamnosus, S. Thermophilus, B. Bifidum, B. Infantis , B. Longum, B. Breve

Other Quality Ingredients: CoQ10 (200 mg), Marinol DHA Powder (50mg), Ginger Root 10:1 (250mg), Inositol (25 mg), Choline (25 mg)

Choline and Insitol are nice additions and I strongly recommend them. Capsules, softgels, and liquids are better to take than tablets which are harder to swallow and harder to absorb.

I focus on these ingredients because many prenatal vitamins do not contain these ingredients or do not have the right amounts of these ingredients.

Essential Ingredients Found in Trimedisyn

Trimedisyn is the first Prenatal Vitamin that I have come upon to contain all of the essential ingredients. Because of this, I give Trimedisyn my top ranking. This prenatal vitamin also includes the correct amounts for each of the ingredients. Trimedisyn is a newer product and that may be why it contains all of these ingredients. I expect that we will be seeing a lot of other prenatal vitamins containing all of these ingredients fairly soon.

Overall Rating of Trimedisyn

Overall Trimedisyn is the top prenatal vitamin of 2010. No other product contains the ingredients that Trimedisyn contains and the ones that come close are very expensive prescription prenatal vitamins. As far as problems with Trimedisyn I could only think of a couple, first it is not a prescription and so it does not have the same regulations. Some people may find this as a disadvantage but I don’t think it should be a determining factor when buying a prenatal vitamin. For some people this may be an advantage because not all people have insurance that help cover the cost of insurance. As for side effects there should be very little. This product does not contain any hydrogenated oils, dye’s, or artificial flavors that some mothers may react to. You should expect to see the same side effects that you see in most other prenatal vitamins such as upset stomach. In all, look over what is found in Trimedisyn and then look at the research that has shown how helpful each of these ingredients are for you and your baby and you’ll see why I rate this product as the best.
